Outside of my product design work, I’m always exploring new creative outlets. From graphic design gigs to past classroom projects and team collaborations, this section highlights the diverse work I’ve done that allows me to stretch my creativity and storytelling skills in different ways.

DESIGN FICTION
Soil as a Time Machine

During a winter school sprint in my postgraduate program, we were placed in teams with students from around the world, each group exploring the concept of soil through a specific theme. My team’s theme focused on the relationship between heritage and soil, which we chose to represent through an interactive time machine, emphasizing the universality of soil as a medium for storytelling.

We dug through the soil and fashioned some spheres. These were placed on an electronic setup connected to a speaker, and upon lifting one of them, it triggered sounds representing different eras—past, present, and speculative future—symbolizing how soil remains constant through time.

Working with a diverse team of students from various disciplines, age groups, and interests sparked an explosion of ideas, creating a highly creative environment. Without a fixed structure or process, the experience was a free-flowing, highly collaborative exploration of innovative possibilities.

PUBLICATION & Editorial DESIGN
Designing Books & Magazines

As an avid reader, I’ve always been captivated by books, languages, and stories. Over the years, I’ve designed books and magazines for both clients and as personal passion projects. With my roots in graphic design, this practice has deeply influenced my approach to design thinking. I constantly explore visual communication and storytelling, finding it both freeing and empowering to craft a compelling narrative in any medium.

I worked with Inframe Magazine on the design of their 4th print issue, themed 'Geometry,' where I contributed to the layout, visual elements, and overall conceptualization. We also developed a social media campaign that included videography, which reflected and teased the theme of that month's edition. You can check out the project here.
